Notices

One notice reaches every station and every shift.

Send one notice by text and email to every member on every shift. Members acknowledge with one tap, you see which stations are still pending, and the rest get a reminder.

  1. Write it once. One message, sent by text and email to every member on every shift.
  2. Members tap to acknowledge. One tap tells you they saw it.
  3. See who is pending. Acknowledgements fill in station by station, shift by shift.
  4. Remind the rest. Send a reminder only to the members who have not acknowledged yet.
  • Notices go out by text and email.
  • Members acknowledge with one tap.
  • Officers see who has acknowledged and who is still pending, station by station and shift by shift.

Votes and elections

Votes that stay open for a full rotation, so every shift takes part.

Put a question to the membership and let every shift take part. Members vote from the members area wherever they are on shift, and officers watch turnout come in by station.

  1. Set the question and the window. Contract ratifications, by-law changes, polls, and the elections your by-laws allow online.
  2. Every shift gets its turn. Keep the vote open long enough for A, B and C shifts to take part.
  3. Watch turnout by station. Officers see turnout come in, station by station.
  4. Post the result. Post it to the members area and pin it for the next shift.
  • Officers see turnout by station.
  • Voting is part of the platform today.
  • Put a question to the membership, from a contract ratification to a poll.
  • A vote opens at a set time and stays open until its closing time.
  • Run an election with candidates.

Grievances

Every step and every deadline, on the record.

File a grievance from the station and track it through each step of your contract, with the deadline for the next step always in view and an email reminder before it is due.

  1. File it from anywhere. A steward or member starts the file from a phone, at the station or at home.
  2. Steps from your contract. Set the grievance steps and time limits your contract uses. Time limits count from the day you record each step.
  3. Deadlines in view. Each file shows its current step, its stage, and when the next step is due, with an email reminder before it is.
  4. The right people see it. Officers and admins see every grievance on file. A steward sees the ones assigned to them or from their station. A member sees their own.
  • Grievance tracking is part of the platform today.
  • A member files their own grievance, or a steward files it for a member, from a phone.
  • Each grievance moves through named stages, from a new grievance to resolved and closed.
  • You set the grievance steps and time limits your contract uses.
  • Time limits count from the day you record each step.
  • Time limits count in calendar days or weekdays.
  • Each grievance shows its step and when the next step is due.
  • An email reminder goes out before a grievance deadline.

Dues

Dues from a text message, and who is current at a glance.

Members pay dues from a text message link, and your Secretary-Treasurer sees who is current without chasing spreadsheets.

  1. Send the link. Members get a dues link by text.
  2. They pay from their phone. No paper and no trip to the hall.
  3. See who is current. Officers see who is current on dues.
  4. See who is current, station by station. Officers see who is current on dues, station by station.
  • Members pay dues from a text message link.
  • Officers see who is current on dues, station by station.
